The extraordinary effort that Valley Academy students and staff put into learning each and every day paid off in the 2016-2017 school year, with Valley Academy earning an A on the statewide school report card for the first time since the school opened.
Valley was one of only two schools in Davidson County to achieve an A grade, the other being the Early College High School at DCCC.
North Carolina’s school report cards are an important resource for parents, educators, state leaders, researchers, and others, providing information about school- and district-level data in a number of areas. These include student performance and academic growth, school and student characteristics, and many other details. You can learn more about the report cards here.
